Other then that I’ve been doing a bit a drawing and have been having trouble finding a spot in the computer lab to work on walk cycles but soon that won’t matter because I will have my own copy of Maya.
5 mins each (the 3mins’ turned out a bit better *shurg*)
30 mins (I can never get that jaw line the way I want it)
20 min. Really nice exercise for a figure drawing class, start in one spot and don’t move out until the your done with it. Really fun being the opposite of how I usually draw in a figure drawing class. (I started with the ear hole)
That’s all I got.
Oh and Dennis DeMercer is awesome. He has been helping me with all of my recent animation stuff. So if anyone ever reads this blog they should check his out for sure! (just click his name)
Last night’s class was nice. I have been struggling to draw lately especially in class, but last night was much better. I took a bit of a break from school to try to fall in love with drawing again.
15-30 sec.
15 min. The shadeing is really just an after thought, really what I wanted to do was focus on line and perspective.
Its a new way of drawing I have been playing with. I have been reading about it in…
Michael D. Mattesi, FORCE Dynamic Life Drawing For Animators
VanArts is a school located in Vancouver B.C. It teaches several different things, but most importantly (to me at least), they have an animation program. Hopefully if all of my plans work out I will be able to go visit Vancouver in a couple weeks and see the School first hand.
I don’t really know anything about VanArts all I know is once upon a time it came recommended by someone I trust.
My first walk cycle. Also my favorite piece of animation I have ever DONE! (there haven’t been very many).
This is my first character I think I ever invented. His name is Milton and he had a great day today. Milton was born about two years ago while I was still at AIS.
(I apologize for making you watch such a short video. It looks better when it loops.)
